Here are some important facts about our cake (and gluten free) doughnut:

Taste:

  • Our new cake doughnuts have a soft, cake-y texture (thus the name!). 
  • These doughnuts have a fried doughnut flavor without the frying! They're baked, just like our raised doughnuts.

    Heating:

    • There's no need to heat! Our new cake doughnuts taste great right from the box!
    • If you do want that "fresh from the oven" taste, feel free to microwave them for 8-10 seconds.
    • If you're heating them straight from the freezer, microwave them for 30-40 seconds (microwave times may vary)

      Nutrition:

      • THEY'RE GLUTEN-FREE! (They are made in a facility that produces wheat products).
      • At 12 grams of protein, the cake doughnuts have even more protein than our raised doughnuts!
      • They're the same size as our original raised doughnuts (60g with the hole).
      • They're soy-free & nut-free, but they are made in a facility that produces nut products.

        Storage:

        • Freeze them immediately upon arrival
        • They can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months

Make sure you're looking at the instructions for the type of doughnut you purchased! We have 2 doughnut types nowCAKE doughnuts and RAISED doughnuts. Both are delicious, but both need different care!***

         

        We also have new glaze flavors AND new, easy-tear glaze packets! There's no need to heat the glazes! Simply tear the packet for the perfect drizzle, or cut a small hole for a small drizzle, as little or as much as you'd like! And yes, all of the cake doughnut flavors available for purchase come with gluten-free glazes and toppings. :)

        For optimal freshness, store your glazes and toppings in the freezer. There is a date on the packets that says "Lot", which is the date the glazes was produced. Our glaze/topping macros have been updated, as we have reformulated the glaze. Exact amounts can be found on page where you add your doughnuts to your shopping cart.

        Our cake doughnuts are currently available in limited quantities each week, so make sure you grab them while they're available!
